Brand new album by a group I've never heard of before that sport that cool type of illuminati beat and rhyme, yeah gawd!!! No serious, this record has a very underground hip hop sound and feel with some pretty cool "conscious lyrics" The beats are definitely on point. A must have for any cheap thug or cheap hipster, pure urban goodness.

Santogold - Santogold (2008)

I have to give it up to this female, i think it's the only and first female artist posted on my cheap blog. For real this album is definitely one of those gems that comes only once in a blue. I can't even put it in a category, this shit is fresh!!! It has a combination of pop, rock, dub, and her singing is on point, all that crap, it's really hot. If I didn't know what she looked like I would of thought that she was just another white girl, cha!!!

Spoon - Girls Can Tell (2001)

Now this is where it all started, smoking weed, attending cheap BMCC, messing around with a cute half asian half italian girl, nice! Towers had recently dropped, downtown was open again, organic cider juice from the farmers market yum. Anyways, by this time I was listening to this online underground radio show, 3wk. First group I began listening to on the show, Spoon. Chicago at Night was on the playlist and on weed that shit sounded so different and ill. I downloaded the album where the song came from and it was over from there, i got into cheap indie rock, cha!!!

Built to Spill - Perfect from Now on (1997)

One of their best albums to date, a great disc to start off with if you're new to Built to Spill. If I did smoke bud I would certainly smoke to this. It's so hard to believe that it's been eleven years since this album came out, the same time that the legendary OK Computer came out. Like OK Computer, this album was and is still beyond its time.
